The Finish Line

Sometimes life can be like Olympics, we can't all win but participation is enough prestigious honour. What really matters is getting to the finish line.
It is not how the story starts, it's how the story ends. It is true that we all want to make big impacts in life but really, it isn't the big impact that matters, but a trace that you existed.
It is a well known fact that everyone wants the mega super glory. But it comes with a price. Usian Bolt as a case study, He's been 100m champion for 11 years on a stretch. He didn't get to that level being a mediocre, he paid the price. Not everyone is willing to give it what it takes to be at that level, but it would be said of the other athletes he has competed with that "I was once in a race with Usian bolt at the Olympics, though he came first but I got to the finish-line" . Getting to the finish line was all that mattered here. And it was just enough credit.
Remember my dear readers it is said that slow and steady wins the race, winning the race is not that you came first, it means you finished the race.
This morning run with this word "Shoot for the moon, if you don't get there you can land amidst the stars."
Thrive to be your best in life, but remember we can't all have the gold medal
Good morning friends, How was your weekend?
